ANNOUNCEMENT
The District Council Badin has announced the award of merit scholarships for the year 2025-26 to the poor and deserving students of Badin district from rural areas admitted to HEC recognized universities in the following fields:

Medical (MBBS, BDS & DPT)

Engineering (B.E)

The main objective of which is to help poor and deserving students complete their education. The eligibility criteria for the scholarship will be as follows:
- The candidate and his/her father/guardian must have a PRC domicile of Badin district.
- Candidates must have been admitted to universities recognized by the Higher Education Commission in 2025-26. Students admitted to universities before the year 2025-26 are not eligible to apply and must have secured 70% marks in Matriculation, Intermediate and must submit mark certificates of the passed examinations.
- The income certificate of the candidate's father/guardian must be certified by the concerned Mukhtarkar. The annual income of which does not exceed Rs. 1000000. Income certificate certified by any officer other than the Mukhtarkar will not be acceptable. In addition, the candidate will have to submit an affidavit regarding financial status.
- At least 30% quota is reserved for girls, 5% quota for minorities, and 5% quota for special and disabled students.
- Selected candidates will be required to appear for an interview before the Selection Committee.
- Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Note: Application forms will be issued from the office of the Chairman District Council from 06-02-2026. The last date for submission of all the requirements included in the application form along with the original application form will be 06-02-2026.
