A Modaraba Management Company in the public sector running a Modaraba is seeking to appoint an experienced, dynamic, and self-motivated individual for the position of Manager Finance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a university/college/institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
- At least 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in the Modaraba or non-banking financial services sector.
- Practical knowledge of financial reporting, costing, budgeting, cash flows, and taxation. Thorough understanding of applicable accounting standards including IFRS, IFAS, and AAOIFI, Companies Act 2017 alongside all applicable laws and regulations. Proficient in ERP systems, financial software, Microsoft Office, and Advanced Spreadsheet-based Financial Modeling using Microsoft Excel.
- Maximum Age Limit: 55 years as of the closing date of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting and analysis.
- Preparation of annual and periodic financial statements, budget, projections, variance analysis, and cash flow statements.
- Preparation and timely filing of statutory forms / returns.
- Coordinate with financial institutions, external auditors, tax consultants, Stock Exchange, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Handling of income tax and sales tax matters in coordination with the tax consultants/tax authorities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
