Vacancies Announced
Applications are invited for one vacant position of Assistant Public Prosecutor (BS-16) in the Higher Education Department, to be filled on an ad-hoc basis. Residents of Jammu and Kashmir possessing the required educational qualifications for this ad-hoc appointment are invited to apply. Applicants must meet the prescribed educational qualifications and other conditions for the said post by the last date of application submission. Applications can be submitted online on the department's website www.hed.ajk.gov.pk within 15 days of the advertisement's publication. A copy of the Test/Interview Confirmation Email must be brought along; otherwise, candidates will not be allowed to participate in the Test/Interview. Information/schedule regarding the Test/Interview will be communicated to candidates via Email.

LLB/LLB (Hons) 2nd Division from a University recognized by HEC and having license from AJK Bar Council with 2 years experience

Conditions:
- Applicants' age limit must be a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 40 years.
- Government employees must submit their applications through proper channel.
- Candidates must bring one attested set of copies of original educational certificates/degrees, domicile, and national identity card, in addition to all other documents as per rules, at the time of the Test/Interview.
- This ad-hoc appointment will be governed by Rule 23 of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Civil Servants (Appointment & Conditions of Service) Rules 1977.
- Marks obtained will be calculated as a percentage according to the CGPA system.
- This ad-hoc appointment will be effective for six months or until the selection of a suitable candidate by the Public Service Commission, whichever comes first.
- This ad-hoc appointment will not confer any right to permanent appointment.
- Candidates appearing for the Test/Interview will not be paid any travel allowance.
- Candidates providing any false information in the online application will be disqualified and will not be allowed to participate in the Test/Interview.
