Advertisement: Vacancies for Drivers and Sewermen (Work-Charged / Daily Wages)

In accordance with the Government of Punjab, Local Government and Community Development Department Lahore's letter No. SO.ADMN-II(LG)Misc/2025(Machinery) dated 07.07.2026, applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following vacant positions of Drivers and Sewermen on a work-charged/daily wage basis under the District Council Faisalabad, based on the open merit criteria and specified conditions:

Terms and Conditions:

These appointments for Drivers and Sewermen are temporary, work-charged/daily wage-based, made by the government for a specific period, and terminate automatically upon completion of the term. This employment does not confer any right to regular service or regular pay scales. The services can be terminated at any time keeping in view the administrative requirements or performance. Wages will be paid as fixed by the Government of Punjab, Finance Department.

The candidate must hold a domicile of District Faisalabad.

Applications must be accompanied by two passport-sized photographs, certified copies of the National Identity Card (CNIC), and educational/experience certificates according to the post requirements.

The candidate must be healthy and fit. Experience certificates must be verified by the department where the service was previously rendered, and their performance must have been satisfactory.

The decision of the Selection Committee will be final and cannot be challenged in any court.

No separate call letter will be issued for the interview/physical test. Candidates must bring their original educational and professional documents at the time of the test/interview.

Applications must reach the office of the District Officer (Regulations) / District Council Faisalabad via registered post or courier by the closing date of 15.08.2026. Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.

The interview/physical test will be held on 19.08.2026 at 11:00 AM at the District Council Faisalabad office. No separate slip or information will be sent for this, and no TA/DA will be paid for attending the test/interview.

A merit list will be prepared based on the applications received, which will be valid for one year. Temporary appointments will be made from this list as per requirements and government guidelines.
