Notice for Candidates:
Information for applicants/candidates for recruitment to vacant positions (Supervisor Fisheries, Game Watcher, Fisheries Watcher, Farm Attendant, Chowkidar) on Open Merit.
On behalf of the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, an advertisement numbered AKNo. 216-N/3/2026 dated March 12, 2026, was issued for recruitment to the above-mentioned vacant positions on an Open Merit basis for permanent residents of the state. However, the Honorable High Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir issued a stay order on all advertisements issued on an Open Merit basis, which suspended the recruitment process. Now, the Honorable Supreme Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has upheld the decision of the High Court regarding Open Merit.
Therefore, all candidates who applied for the aforementioned positions are hereby informed through this newspaper notice that the schedule for interviews/tests for the said positions has been set as follows:
