POSITION VACANT FOR HEC FUNDED PROJECT

Applications (Both Hard-Copy and Online) are invited from Qualified individuals domiciled in the Punjab for the following positions under the HEC approved project "Democratizing Robotics in Pakistan: Design and Development of Multidimensional Robotic Platform for STEM Education".

SWARM ROBOTICS LAB

01	Research Assistant (Rs. 100,000/- Per month)	01 Year	01	Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer/ Software Engineering having: * Strong expertise in SolidWorks for designing robotic and mechanical systems. * Proven ability to create complex, creative, and visually appealing robot designs that are both functional and presentable. * Hands-on experience with mechanical assemblies, enclosures, linkages, and robotic frames. * Familiarity with different types of robots, Robotic Arm, Mobile Robots etc. * Familiarity with manufacturing techniques, prototyping, and fabrication workflows. * Understanding of mechanical optimization principles including stability, weight balance, and ergonomic design. * Basic knowledge of UROF (Unified Robot Description Format) for robot modeling. * Familiarity with simulation environments such as Ignition, Gazebo, or Webots. * Capability to collaborate with electronics, AI, and software teams for complete robot development. * Knowledge of ROS, AI, and programming will be considered an added advantage.	21-35

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Submission of application is a two-step process. It is mandatory to submit the application in hard copy as well as on the Online form:

i. Application on prescribed form (available at along with CV and other testimonials must be reached in the R&I Cell of the university on or before December 4th, 2025 (Thursday) up to 3:00 PM.

Application fee (non-refundable) Rs. 2000/- must be paid in the favor of the Treasurer, UET Taxila in shape of Bank Draft/Postal Order/HBL Challan of UET Taxila Branch.
The above posts are purely project-based, hence no right of regular appointment.
Attested copies of degree/ certificate/ testimonials/ CNIC/ experience certificates and photographs must be attached.
Incomplete or lately received applications will not be entertained and only short-listed candidates are called for a test/ interview.
