Hiring of Consultant Pharmacist (Short Term Consultancy)
UET Lahore intends to hire a Consultant Pharmacist on short-term consultancy basis for a period of six months. The consultant will assist the UET Health Clinic in the procurement of medicines directly from the manufacturers in compliance with Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Rules 2014. The consultant is to be engaged under the Short Term Consultancy Rule of PPRA.
Scope of Work:
- Provide expert advice and support for the procurement of medicines in accordance with PPRA Rules through E-Procurement.
- Conduct a comprehensive review of current procurement needs, including demand forecasting for essential medicines.
- Assist in preparation of technical specifications, bidding documents for medicine procurement directly from the medicine manufacturers.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and compliance with concerned procurement procedures.
- Supervise quality control related to medicines procured and ensure conformity with regulatory standards.
- Maintain an updated inventory system and assist in stock management during the consultancy period.
Qualification & Experience
- Degree in Pharmacy (Pharm-D) from a recognized university and registered with Pharmacy Council of Pakistan
- Strong understanding of PPRA Rules 2014
