Career Opportunities in Banking

The Bank of Punjab is one of the fastest-growing banks in Pakistan, with a history of over 35 years and a network of 900+ branches. Applications are invited for the following position in the Global Trade Operations Division (Operations Group):

Position: Unit Head – Import (North & Central Punjab)

Grade: Band-5 to Band-3
Location: Rawalpindi

Major Responsibilities

Supervision and authentication of Foreign/Inland LCs (Letters of Credit), amendments, and messages.
Preparation of Reimbursement Authorities against LCs.
Supervision of lodgment, retirement, and overdue payments.
Handling Shipping Guarantees and Import Contracts.
Supervision of OFBC (Outward Foreign Bills for Collection) lodgment and settlement.
Checking DD (Demand Draft) and PO (Pay Order) issuance for Inland LCs.
Rectification of audit objections for the Imports Department.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.
Experience: Minimum 9 years of banking or non-banking experience.
Age: Up to 55 years as of the application date.
