Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Job Advertisement
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), the main regulator for Pakistan's capital markets and corporate sector, is looking for highly qualified legal professionals for positions within its Prosecution and Legal Affairs Division on a contractual basis.
Available Positions:

1. Division Head/Executive Director (Prosecution & Legal Affairs Division - Islamabad)
- Qualification: LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized university, enrolled as an advocate of the High Court. Preference for those with Supreme Court of Pakistan advocacy, corporate law judgments, and experience in legal advisory and legislative drafting.
- Post Qualification Experience: Minimum of 20 years in relevant experience, with 5 years in a senior legal role in a large organization. Preference for Bar-at-Law or LL.M. degree holders with financial sector experience.
- Age: Maximum 55 years as of the deadline.
- Job Nature & Duration: Contractual for 3 years, extendable based on need and performance.

2. Director (Prosecution and Civil Litigation Department - Karachi)
- Qualification: LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized university, enrolled as an advocate of the High Court. Preference for Bar-at-Law or LL.M. holders with financial sector experience.
- Post Qualification Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in corporate law and criminal prosecution. Detail of reported cases (10 minimum) & decided cases (50 minimum) related to corporate matters, list of pending Trial & High Court cases as an Independent Counsel or Public Prosecutor and related post (s) held should be clearly provided in the proforma given in TORs.
- Age: Maximum 50 years as of the deadline.
- Job Nature & Duration: Contractual for 3 years, extendable. May be regularized after three years if criteria are met.
