CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), the apex regulator of the capital market and corporate sector, is seeking qualified, result-oriented professionals with integrity and strong technical and analytical skills for the following Islamabad-based positions in its Insurance Division.
Joint Director (Insurance Division) – 02 Positions
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant
- Post Qualification Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience, which must include a minimum of 4 years with big four audit firm and at least 3 years with a financial sector regulator. In-depth understanding of insurance laws alongside knowledge of financial reporting standards for insurance (IFRS-17) and the current solvency and risk-based capital regime. (CA Articleship will be considered as part of the requisite experience)
- Age Limit: The maximum age should not exceed 45 years on the last date of submission of the application
- Nature of Employment: Contractual – 03 Years. The Commission may consider to regularize the position (after three years), subject to meeting the prescribed criteria.
- Female candidates who fulfill the above specified criteria shall be given preference.
- SECP offers a competitive compensation package. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
- The appointment will be subject to qualifying the multi-tier interview process, clearance of medical tests, and psychological assessment.
