Hands-on experience of MV, LV cable termination and jointing. Hands-on experience of all type of AC/DC, MV and LV motors overhauling/rewinding. Must be familiar with computer skills. Thorough understanding of facility electrical systems/electrical equipment including operation and maintenance of power generator, motors, transformers, UPS and other control system and workshop apparatus.

Responsible for executing electrical tasks, troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting equipment installations.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Control Engineering (or equivalent experience)

7+ years of experience in control system engineering, particularly within process plants, mining, or heavy industry environments. Proven expertise with ABB automation products such as ABB 800xA systems and integration of ABB 500M controllers, including intermediate to advanced understanding of ABB SCADA/HMI development, the ABB minerals library, and the methodology thereof. Certifications related to ABB systems and equipment, such as ABB 800xA, ABB Drives, and ABB SCADA, are highly desirable. Additional certifications like MOXA Industrial Networking, Project Management, or a safety-related certification would be advantageous. Demonstrated expertise in advanced diagnostic techniques for both software and hardware components within the ABB control systems ecosystem. Experience in commissioning and configuring drives, where experience in ABB VSDs and UMCs for DOL drives will be advantageous.

Strong knowledge of ProfiNet, Modbus TCP, and Ethernet-based networking protocols, as well as diagnostics and troubleshooting of communication issues. Experience in setting up and configuring network switches for industrial network architectures where experience in MOXA switches is advantageous. Proficient in inter-PLC communication between various packages. Knowledge of structured programming languages such as C would be advantageous. Experience in working on Advanced Process Control systems (APCs). Demonstrated experience working in diverse, multicultural environments, with an ability to adapt to local working conditions and team dynamics. Familiarity with industrial cybersecurity best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a
