Supreme Court of Pakistan, CNS Courts RWP/ISB, Anti-Smuggling Court, ATC, and Appellate Courts
The advocate fulfilling the following criteria can apply:
a. The candidate shall be a citizen of Pakistan.
b. The candidate shall be practicing as an advocate in the Supreme Court of Pakistan or a High Court; however, preference will be given to candidates having experience contesting cases in the Supreme Court.
c. The candidate shall have experience contesting Criminal/Narcotics cases in the Trial Court, Appellate Courts, and Service Matters.
d. The candidate shall be a member of the Supreme Court of Pakistan bar association.
e. The candidate shall neither have been guilty of misconduct during their professional career nor convicted of an offense of moral turpitude, nor dismissed from Government Services nor declared insolvent.
An Attractive retainership fee will be offered, which is mutually negotiable.
After the selection of a candidate as special prosecutor, they will conduct proceedings under the control of the Narcotics Substances Act, 1997, Prevention of Smuggling Act 1977, and Anti-Money Laundering Act, 2010 in Narcotics Cases/Assets Cases on behalf of the Regional Directorate, Anti Narcotics Force, North before CNS Special Court Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Anti-Smuggling Court, and Appellate Courts.
During the contract period with the Anti Narcotics Force, the candidate shall not be allowed to appear in any court as defense counsel for an accused in narcotics/assets and related cases.
Interviews will be held at the Regional Directorate Anti Narcotics Force Rawalpindi, 5-A Aiza Colony, Shaheen Chowk, Industrial Triangle Near Yamaha Chowk, Model Town, Islamabad. No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview.
The selection will be made purely on merit.
