Qualifications
For MPhil, ME & MS (With Course Work): At least 16 years of studies (MA, MLIS, MSc, MBA, BBA 4-year, MAS, MCom, BS, B-Pharm, Pharm-D, MBBS, BDS, DVM, BS/BE Engineering or equivalent) with at least second division from HEC recognized University/Institution. Candidates with MBBS, BDS, DVM or equivalent qualification will be required to successfully complete the deficiency courses prescribed by the concerned department. For MS(Surgery), MD(Medicine) & MDS (Master of Dental Surgery): MBBS/BDS or equivalent qualification from a recognized University in addition to one year house job with valid PMDC Registration. For PhD: MPharm, MPhil, MBA (with 4 year BBA) or its equivalent qualification in the relevant field from HEC recognized University. For LLM: At least 16 years of studies (BA LLB/LLB) or equivalent qualification with at least Second Division in LLB having at least 55 percent aggregate or have a minimum CGPA of 3.00 from HEC recognized university/institution.
Last Date
Submit duly filled Entrance Test Form along with all academic documents & paid Fee Voucher (non-refundable) in the respective departments latest by July 08, 2026. Karachi University Entrance Test 2026 will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
How to Apply
1. The Postgraduate Admission Prospectus 2026, Entrance Test Form and Fee Voucher can be downloaded from the University of Karachi Website (https://uok.edu.pk/admissions/pg-index.php) from June 29 to July 08, 2026. 2. Candidates are required to read the Prospectus carefully, fill Entrance Test Form and Fee Voucher. 3. Candidates are required to submit duly filled Entrance Test Form along with all academic documents & paid Fee Voucher (non-refundable) in the respective departments latest by July 08, 2026. 4. The Karachi University Entrance Test 2026 is mandatory for all candidates. List of eligible candidates will be displayed on University of Karachi website on July 20, 2026. 5. Candidates eligible for Karachi University Entrance Test will be required to collect Admit Cards from July 23 to July 24, 2026 from the respective Departments/Centers/Institutes. 6. The Karachi University Entrance Test will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Candidates are required to report at 9:30 a.m. at their respective Departments/Centers/Institutes with Admit Card and Original CNIC. List of successful candidates of Karachi University Entrance Test (KUET)-2026 will be announced/displayed on the University of Karachi website on August 02, 2026. Note: Degree Holders of HEC-recognized Pakistani Private/Foreign institutions MUST submit an Equivalence Certificate of the Degree obtained from the Office of the Deputy Registrar (Academics) of the University of Karachi before the provisional admission.
