VACANCY
The Government of Balochistan, Planning and Development Department invites application form the dynamic and result-oriented individual for a position of “Project Director for PSDP funded Scheme entitled, “CHAGAI MASTER PLAN”. The position will be filled purely on contract basis in line with PD's appointment policy notified by the P&D Department. Further details are given as follows:

The Project Director will be appointed on a contract basis for an initial period of two (02) years, extendable on a yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance and until completion of the project.

Qualification and Experience
- Education:
- Minimum 16 years of education with specialization in the relevant field from an HEC recognized institution in one of the following disciplines:
- BS/BE in Engineering (having registration with PEC)
- Project Management
- MBA/MPA
- Master's or 4-year BS degree in Economics or other relevant fields.
- Experience:
- Minimum Ten (10) years and above of professional experience in implementation of rural and urban planning, infrastructure development, project management and relevant experience in development projects across both public and private sector.
- Must have sound knowledge of project planning and implementation processes, particularly the Government of Pakistan's project planning and management procedures. Relevant experience as project director in public sector in Balochistan will be an added advantage.
- Age Limit:
- Minimum: 35 years.
- Maximum: 62 years (as of the date of appointment).
Selection Criteria
The selection will be carried out in accordance with the Project Director Appointment Policy notified by the Planning & Development Department, Government of Balochistan.
