INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR
How to Apply?
Educational Qualifications: Minimum of a sixteen (16) years degree in Computer Science/
Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related
field from a HEC recognized institution.
• Inclusion in the databank of independent directors: Candidates must be listed in the
databank of independent directors notified by the SECP under section 166 of the
Companies Act, 2017.
Professional Experience: At least 15 years of experience in a senior leadership role,
preferably in the IT/ITES sector, public sector, or a multinational organization.
• Governance Experience: Candidate must possess at least three (03) years prior experience of
serving on the board of directors of a public or private sector organizations.
Fit and Proper Criteria: Candidates must meet the fit and proper criteria in accordance with
Section 16 and Schedule IV of the SOEs, Act, 2023.
Gender representation: PSEB is committed to ensure gender representation and balance in the
age of directors to the board. Persons below the age of forty (40) and women meeting the criteria
are encouraged to apply.
Age limit: The age should be between 35-70 years on the date of closure of applications.
