PhD in Social Sciences, Humanities, Management Sciences, or Computer Science with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience with academia, International Donor Agencies, Research Institutes, and Think-tanks. The candidate must possess the following: a. Manage and enhance the research activities of the university through mapping faculty research areas with industry opportunities. b. Should have an entrepreneurial mindset with commercialization experience of commercializing ideas, products, and services in the field of languages, social sciences, and computer sciences. c. Should have strong ties with donor agencies, government, business/industry, entrepreneurs, national/international universities, and social communities. d. Proven leadership experience in managing and growing non-profit organizations, i.e., develop research policies and priorities.

Manager Innovation and Commercialization (I&C)

Master's Degree with 3-4 years of relevant experience and can: - Disclose Intellectual Property (IP) of faculty and staff members. - Prepare policy briefs. - Initiate negotiations for IP licensing. - Sign non-exclusive or exclusive licenses. - Generate revenue from licensing, royalties, policy advocacy, or other academic activities. - Arrange visits by representatives of industry or community members regarding potential research subjects. - Organize events for industry or entrepreneurial stimulus, or for community engagement or community awareness. - Manage & organize agreements for collaboration with industry.
