Position Overview

The CEO will oversee the management of the company's power generation operations, including strategic leadership, innovative measures for efficiency, robust governance, and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring smooth operations and maintenance of power plants.
Developing and implementing an effective business plan aligned with government policies.
Liaising with the Ministry of Energy, NEPRA, CPPA-G, and other stakeholders.
Implementation of policy decisions from government bodies.
Ensuring timely and efficient reporting to the Board of Directors.
Overseeing operational expenditures.
Identifying and mitigating financial, operational, and legal risks.
Developing and executing efficient HR strategies.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification: Must possess a graduate degree from an HEC-recognized institute in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Commerce, Marketing, or Engineering (registered with PEC), or be a recognized member of a body of professional accountants.
Minimum Experience: At least ten (10) years of demonstrated experience at a senior management level in well-known organizations, as a Chief Executive, or at a senior management level in similar commercial organizations.
Age: Maximum 58 years on the closing date of application.

Terms and Application Process

Term: Appointed on a performance-based contract for three (03) years, extendable at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
