JOB Advertisement: Female Doctor/Medical Officer

A well-established national non-profit organization based in Quetta is seeking applications from qualified and committed female professionals for the position of Female Doctor/Medical Officer for a project supporting host and refugee communities in Quetta.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical consultations, diagnoses, and treatment to patients in line with clinical standards.
• Conduct OPDs for men, women, and children, including antenatal care and ultrasounds.
• Deliver counseling sessions on nutrition and preventive health practices by age, gender, and condition.
• Promote lifestyle changes and preventive measures for communicable and non-communicable diseases.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and refer patients as needed.
• Conduct health screenings, community health camps, and outreach sessions in Quetta.
• Lead peer learning (SEED) sessions with community health providers.
• Promote culturally sensitive, gender-inclusive, and equitable healthcare access.
• Provide support in community health education and health promotion initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• MBBS degree (Mandatory) and valid Medical registration.
• Strong diagnostic skills and hands-on experience with ultrasound and other diagnostic tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in Pashto, Urdu, and English, with a working knowledge of additional local languages preferred.
• Experience in maternal child and general health care.
• Knowledge of nutritional counseling and community outreach.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with diverse populations.
