1. Call for Applications for Appointment of Legal Advisor for Case Proceedings
The Municipal Committee Kalorkot requires applications from suitable candidates for the appointment of a Legal Advisor to pursue its cases in various courts, according to the following terms and conditions, by October 13, 2025. Additionally, a copy of the application along with complete documents must be sent to the Secretary, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Punjab, Lahore.
Required Educational Qualification and Experience:
- The candidate must be a Law Graduate from a recognized university.
- The applicant must be a practicing member of the Bar Association Kalorkot, Bhakkar.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in Civil and District Courts.
- Must have complete knowledge of local laws.
- Must have the ability to handle cases related to Local Bodies in various tribunals.
Other Conditions:
- The appointment will be for 2 years, starting from the date of joining.
- The appointment will be made under the Punjab Local Government (Legal Advisor) Rules, 2003.
- The application must include attested copies of educational qualifications and experience certificates.
- The Legal Advisor appointed at the Headquarter Bhakkar will be responsible for pursuing all cases filed on behalf of MC Kalorkot in Civil Courts, Criminal Courts, Ombudsman, Labor Courts, Banking Courts, etc., especially in District Courts Bhakkar.
- Monthly honorarium will be determined by the Law and Parliamentary Affairs Department, Government of Punjab, Lahore.
- The Legal Advisor will not be authorized to appear or advise against MC Kalorkot in any other ongoing case against MC Kalorkot.
- In case of unsatisfactory performance, the appointment may be terminated during the term of service.
