Applications are invited for a Research Associate in the PARB-funded research project No. 25-085 entitled "R&D-Driven Scale-Up of Soilless Greenhouse Vegetable Farming through Public-Private Partnership", at MNS University of Agriculture, Multan. Research Associate (Horticulture)
Qualification: M.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture from an HEC-recognized university.
Age: Not more than 35 years (relaxable as per rules).
TORs
• Report to the Project Manager (PM) of the project.
• Willing to travel and work in the field/demonstration sites; full-time and dedicated to the project.
• Day-to-day management and monitoring of the substrate-based soilless greenhouse demonstration units - climate parameters, crop growth, phenology, yield and quality data. Fertigation scheduling (pH/EC monitoring), nutrient solution preparation, and pest and disease scouting at all sites.
• Coordination and liaison with private-sector partners and field staff together with assistance in farmer/stakeholder training and demonstration-day activities.
• Preparation of periodic progress reports, datasets, and documentation, and any other task assigned by the PM.
Contract period: Initially one year, extendable up to three years based on good performance. |
Rs. 75,000 per month
(annual increment @ 7.0% of starting pay) |

- A merit/waiting list of suitable candidates will be maintained by the selection committee. In case the selected candidate does not join, or leaves the project before its completion, next candidate in order of merit will be offered position without re-advertisement. The waiting list shall remain valid for the duration of the project.
