POSITION/VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Medical Teaching Institution Nowshera (MTI, NSH), with its constituent units, Qazi Hussain Ahmad Medical Complex and Nowshera Medical College, is an autonomous body run by a Board of Governors (BOG) as prescribed by the Medical Teaching Institutions Reforms Act of 2015 and as amended in 2018 by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Applications are invited for the following positions at Medical Teaching Institution, Nowshera. MTI Nowshera is an equal opportunity employer with no gender or racial bias. Preferred/Additional Weightage: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA-USA). Experience: • 07 years relevant experience with 03 years' experience in Internal Audit for CA/ACCA/ICMA/CIMA OR; • 10 years' experience with 05 years' experience in Internal Auditor for MBA Finance; preferably Hospital/Healthcare/Public Sector. • Senior Leadership Experience: Minimum 04 years in Senior Management Role (Director/Head/Manager).	Main Responsibilities: • Conduct risk-based internal audits of the MTI QHAMC/NMC financial, operational, and administrative functions, and submit audit reports with recommendations to the Board of Governors (BoG) through the Audit Committee. • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, governance, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and institutional policies. • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions. • Coordinate with external auditors and facilitate statutory and special audits by providing the required information and support.
2	Manager Supply Chain	• 3-years tenure, extendable as per MTI Act. • Market-based, competitive salary.	Qualifications: Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Public Administration. Preferred/Additional weightage: MS / MBA with specialization in Supply Chain Management, international certification in supply chain management/Procurement/logistics. Experience: • Minimum 05 years of experience in supply chain, procurement & materials management. The applicant must have a sound knowledge of KPPRA and KPPRA rules. • Candidates having procurement experience in health sector will be given preference.	• Ensure the timely and uninterrupted procurement, storage, and supply of medicines, medical equipment, plant and machinery, tools, furniture, electronic equipment, consumables, and other goods required by the MTI QHAMC/NMC. • Manage stores, warehousing, and inventory operations to maintain optimal stock levels, ensure accurate inventory records, prevent stock-outs and wastage, and safeguard institutional assets. • Plan, supervise, and optimize procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics systems to ensure the cost-effective, transparent, and timely availability of supplies in accordance with applicable laws, procurement rules, and institutional policies. • Coordinate with clinical, administrative, and user departments to forecast demand, support procurement planning, and ensure uninterrupted service delivery. Procurement of civil works, contracting services, and non-consulting services. • Auction/Disposal of assets. • Execution of Public Private Projects in compliance with relevant legal framework. • Contract Management. • Implementation of procurement and inventory modules in hospital ERP system.
3	Manager Facilities	• 3-years tenure, extendable contract as per MTI Act.	Qualifications: Master's degree or 16-year education in management or environmental science or equivalent degree in engineering from recognized university. Experience: • 05 years of post-qualification experience in a managerial/administrative role in the service industries related to facility management. • Preference will be given to candidate with experience in Hospitality Industry/Hospitality. • Additional requirements are an ability to do strategic planning for the areas of food and beverages, laundry, waste management, heating, ventilation, airconditioning, transport, layout, facilities management and housing.	• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and upkeep of the hospital, medical college, hostel, and other facilities, including buildings, utilities, engineering services, and grounds. • Manage housekeeping, horticulture, laundry, pest control, waste management, and other support services to ensure a safe, clean, and compliant environment. • Supervise repair and preventive maintenance of BME, electrical, HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing, sanitary, civil related infrastructure. • Manage food and beverage services, including cafeteria and hostel catering, ensuring health, hygiene, and regulatory compliance. • Monitor outsourced service contracts, coordinate with relevant departments, and ensure the efficient delivery of facility management services.

Applications accompanied with complete bio-data and academic/experience/domicile certificates along with 02 recent photographs and CNIC photocopy duly attested must be submitted within (15 days) of the publication of this advertisement on the prescribed application form.

The applications duly completed with supported attested documents should reach through a through registered couriers service on or before the date of closing. In case if the documents reach after the date by the counter even if the Bank draft payment is done within due date will not be considered.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Shortlisting will be done as per pre-interview criteria.

The services of the incumbent will be governed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical & Teaching Institutions Reform Act 2015, relevant rules and regulations amended from time to time.

Competitive market-based salaries shall be offered to the selected candidates of the respective positions.

Application for the post by civil servant must be accompanied by NOC from the parent department failing which the candidate will be considered ineligible.

A civil servant, if selected has to submit evidence of deletion/resignation from civil service within 90 days after arrival. Failure to comply will lead to termination from service ab-initio without any notice.

If the closing date fixed for the receipt of application form falls on an official holiday, the next working day shall be considered as the closing date.

Experience modes will be given to only those candidates who have experience in relevant/subspecialty related to Finance or Accounts.

A candidate may be disqualified or debarred from interview if he/she has been:
