VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Ayub Teaching Hospital Abbottabad as an Autonomous Medical Teaching Institution recognized by the Medical Teaching Institutions Reform Act 2015 and amendments therein (MTI ATH/AMC/ACD) invites applications from highly motivated and dynamic candidates for the following positions on contract basis for a period of three years renewable subject to annual satisfactory performance evaluation (PER) at the end of each calendar year. The appointment shall also be on probation for a period of one year after which the contract shall be regularized.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
- The appointment of Experiential Registrar is for a period of three years and Trainee Registrar/Junior Registrar for a period of three years.
- The appointment shall also be on probation for a period of one year after which the contract shall be regularized.
- A candidate may be disqualified/debarred from selection even after his/her selection if:
- Has been dismissed from public service
- Knowingly furnishes false information or suppresses material facts
- Submits forged or tampered documents
- Character verification and antecedents and charts of the selected candidates shall be conducted. In case of any adverse report received, the selection shall stand cancelled/ab-initio.
- Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview. No TA/DA shall be admissible. Original documents must be produced at the time of interview.
- Candidates already in government service must apply through proper channel.
- If the number of candidates is large enough, a screening test/written test will be conducted by the institution or a designated testing agency.
- Age relaxation shall be granted as per government rules.
- Quotas shall be observed as per government rules (2% for persons with disabilities, 5% for female candidates and 3% for minorities). A disabled person certificate issued by the competent authority must be attached.
- The Scrutiny Committee shall be competent to reject any application that is incomplete or received after the due date. Aggrieved candidates may submit a written appeal to the competent authority within three days of the rejection.
- The institution reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
