How to Apply?
To supervise, monitor and operate the complex through SCADA reliably and efficiently under the direct supervision of Shift Charge Engineer and through prudent utility practice.
To assist Shift Charge Engineer in maintaining close liaison with NPCCRCC/NTDC and Grid Operators regarding switching operations and plant status
To keep data logging, identify and report plant defects and ensure defects are reported asap and liaise with the maintenance section to that effect To assist Shift Charge Engineer in declaration of DAC/RDAC and ensure the energy dispatch as per RDAC
To assist shift charge engineer in providing technical input on the safe and efficient operation of plant especially during the restoration of supply after station blackout or system collapse.
To assist Senior Charge Engineer in submission of daily station generation, plant tripping report, compliance of PPA and EHS SOPs. Eligibility Criteria
BSc in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering
Minimum 03 years of experience in operation of Hydropower Plants
Should have excellent knowledge of plant systems including generators, turbines, GIS, Power Transformers, EDGs and other associated plant auxiliaries through Auto and Manual Operation
Should have experience to control plant operation through SCADA, record data, declaration of DAC/RDAC and PTW.
Should be well aware of isolations to be provided for Maintenance, Unit start and stop procedures, correspondence protocols with NPCC/RCC and other concerns
Should be well aware of safety protocols and SOPs (LOTO procedures etc.).
Candidate, who is willing to work in shifts, will be preferred.
