Advertisement for Temporary Seasonal Work Charge Recruitment
The Irrigation Department, Balloki Headworks Division, Balloki, requires applications on plain paper for the following work charge based positions for the financial year 2025-26, according to departmental rules and regulations:
- Beldar
- Mali
- Chowkidar
- Khakrob
- Helper
- Pump Operator
- Fitter
- Electrician
- Driver
- Computer Operator
- Imam Masjid
on a work charge basis at Bed and Bund, Flood Bund, Barood Khana, LBDC Canal, and Lift System.
- Hiring for these positions will be based on merit, according to the instructions issued by the Secretary Irrigation, letter number SO(E-III)8-6/2021 dated 20.01.2022.
- Hiring for these positions is purely temporary, for a maximum period of 89 days, as needed. However, the department may extend the duration as per its requirement from time to time.
- The number of the above-mentioned positions depends on the approval of the competent authority, and the number of positions can be increased or decreased as per requirement. Wages will be paid according to the Schedule of Wages issued by the Government of Punjab.
- Interested and eligible candidates can submit applications at the Sub-Division Office, Bed Works, Akhtar Abad, by the 25th of each month.
- It is necessary for the candidate to be a resident of the local jurisdiction of the Irrigation Department, Balloki Headworks Division.
- Hiring orders will be issued for a specific period after the approval of the competent authority and subject to the availability of funds as needed.
- Work charge employees can be terminated from employment at any time without any prior notice or reason. They will not have the right to appeal against this in any court or institution, nor will work charge employees be entitled to be made permanent based on their services.
