1. The contract appointment will be made only for a period of one year.
2. The minimum qualification shall be graduation, preferably Masters degree in Law with at least 15 years experience/practice, law by the applicant, having license of the Hon'ble High Court.
3. He/She will not be allowed to practice at any time while the contract is in effect.
4. He/She shall perform the key function but not limited to the following;
a) Represent the Finance Department before different higher and lower courts, ensuring effective representation and advocacy of the interests of Government and Departments.
b) Draft, review, and file legal documents, including para-wise comments, petitions, motions, and appeals; ensuring accuracy of the same and adherence to relevant legal procedure.
c) Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including officers/officials of Finance Department and legal advisors, to gather necessary information and evidence for court proceedings.
5. The candidates already in Govt: service should apply through proper channel, as per rules in vogue.
6. The cut-off date for determining of eligibility criteria will be closing date of advertisement.
7. The department reserves the right not to fill the advertised post without assigning any reasons thereof.
8. No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates called for test/interview or on first joining.
9. The candidates will bring their original testimonials at the time of interview.
