POSITION VACANT
The Chief Minister's Secretariat / House, Sindh Karachi requires the services of Telephone Operator (BPS-06), on 8 vacant positions as per the following eligibility criteria:
- Academic qualification: Matriculation.
- Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test of Matriculation category, with atleast 40% marks, conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Service (STS) and possess its certificate, issued by STS.
- Age: 18-30 years
- Age of the applicants shall be calculated from the closing date of submission of application as provided under Rule-7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024. The upper age relaxation limit is subject to prevailing rules / policy of Government of Sindh.
- Experience: Six (06) months experience in the relevant field.
Required Skills
- Possess good inter-personal communication skills.
- Efficiently manage incoming and outgoing calls.
- Direct calls to the appropriate officers and departments.
- Maintain telephone logs and keep contact directories updated.
- Report any faults in communication lines or equipment.
- Must be computer literate.
General Instructions:-
(i) Applicants who fulfil above requirements should apply for the subject vacancy on Sindh Job Portal Government of Sindh at within 15 (fifteen) days of publication of the advertisement.
(ii) Those applicants who are already in Government Service should get NOC from their Department prior to submission of application and bring original copy of the NOC at the time of interview for submission before the Departmental Selection Committee.
(iii) The appointment shall be made as per the Policy Notified by the Government of Sindh on 26-04-2023 and under provisions of Sindh Civil Servants Act 1973 and its rule, as amended from time to time.
(iv) The applicants should appear before the Departmental Selection Committee alongwith original documents for interview as per the schedule to be uploaded on the Job Portal.
(v) No TA & DA will be admissible for interview.
