Requisite Qualifications and Description:
Candidates must hold a medical degree and currently be in a valid medical faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor or higher.
They must be a registered CPSP (College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan) supervisor.
Assessment will be based on scholarly activity, publications, teaching quality, experience, leadership, management skills, and professional integrity.
The role is honorary, providing leadership and administrative experience.
Institutional-based practice is mandatory for clinical department positions.
Main Responsibilities:
Administration of scholarly and research activities.
Membership in the academic council.
Development of research and teaching activities.
Engagement in patient care in the relevant specialty.
Terms and Conditions:
Salary will correspond with the appropriate faculty position if selected from outside MTI Mardan.
The position is tenure-based, initially for three years, extendable for two more terms.
Service will be governed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institution Act, 2015 (as amended), and MTI regulations.
In-service employees must apply through the proper channel.
Appointees must submit a resignation from any existing employment.
The authority can alter or cancel positions.
