Amended Advertisement for Recruitment on Permanent, Temporary Work-Charge Basis for the Financial Year 2026-27

Applications are invited for recruitment on a permanent/temporary work-charge basis for the year 2026-27 for seasonal staff (Irrigation Department) in the Sheikhupura Division UCC, for works such as clearance, closing of channels, lining, etc. The duration of this employment will be eighty-nine (89) days.

Terms and Conditions:

Recruitment for the above-mentioned posts will be strictly on merit in accordance with the policy letter No. SO(E-III)8-6/2021 dated 20.01.2022 issued by the competent authority / Secretary Irrigation Department, Lahore.

Residents within the boundaries of the Canal Circle Sheikhupura are eligible to apply. However, preference will be given to residents of Sheikhupura Division UCC, specifically Tehsil Sheikhupura, Tehsil Muridke, Tehsil Ferozewala, Tehsil Sharaqpur, and Tehsil Nankana Sahib.

Candidates can collect application forms until August 1, 2026. Completed applications, along with certified copies of educational qualifications and CNIC (National Identity Card), must be submitted to the office of the Sub-Divisional Officer of their respective area within the first two weeks of every month during office hours.

Appointments will be subject to passing the interview/test and the report of the selection committee constituted as per policy.

The age of the candidate must not be less than 22 years and not more than 35 years.

Temporary and work-charge employees can be dismissed from service at any time without prior notice. They will have no right to appeal against this in any court or institution, nor will recruitment on a temporary/work-charge basis grant them any right to claim permanent employment.

Employees recruited on a temporary/work-charge basis must provide their Bank Account Number to receive their salary. Salaries will only be paid through a vendor.
