Staff Required - Seasonal Work Charge (Temporary) Vacancies
The Department of Irrigation, Layyah Canal Division, Layyah, requires applications on plain paper from residents of this division or Layyah district for recruitment on a seasonal work charge (temporary) basis for the following positions. Applications for all positions must be submitted to the office of the Executive Engineer, Layyah Canal Division, Layyah, during office hours by July 21, 2025. Interviews will be held on July 23, 2025. The duration of the work charge employment will be from July 25, 2025, to October 15, 2025. The duration of employment may be increased or decreased as per the work charge policy. The salaries for all the following positions will be paid according to the approved Schedule of Wages and Page Rates of the Government of Punjab, Finance Department. Details are as follows:

Terms and Conditions:
- All these positions are purely on a daily wage basis.
- Recruitment for the above positions will be based on merit as per the recruitment policy of the Government of Punjab.
- These positions can be terminated at any time.
- A certificate must be submitted stating that no appeal will be filed in any court for regularization at the end of the season if an employee is dismissed from service due to poor performance or absenteeism.
- Work charge candidates must submit an affidavit along with the application stating that they are not employed by any government department, private entity, or agency.
- Attested copies of domicile certificate and identity card must be attached with the application; otherwise, the application will not be accepted.
- A LTV license is mandatory for drivers.
- Candidates must bring original documents at the time of the interview.
- Applications received after the due date or incomplete applications will not be considered.
- No travel allowance or daily allowance will be paid to candidates appearing for the interview.
