Terms and Conditions:
- Recruitment will be on merit as per instructions issued by the Secretary Irrigation Department, Letter No. SO(E-II)6/2021-B dated 02-06-2025.
- Recruitment for the posts will be for a maximum period of 70 days on a temporary or seasonal basis. However, the department may extend the duration of recruitment as per its requirement.
- Applications of candidates should be submitted on plain paper, duly signed, along with attested copies of National Identity Card, Domicile Certificate, other educational certificates, and experience certificates.
- Payment of wages will be according to the Schedule of Wages of the Government of Punjab.
- No travel allowance will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview.
- Residents of Punjab are eligible to apply, however, residents within the limits of B.S. Link Canal will be preferred.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview after scrutiny of documents by the concerned Sub Divisional Officer.
- Hiring orders will be issued after approval from the competent authority and availability of funds as required.
- Work charge employees can be terminated at any time without any notice or reason. No right to appeal against this in any court or institution will be granted, nor will work charge employees have any right to be made permanent on the basis of their services.
- During the year, any selected employee may be recruited through this advertisement if needed, for which a separate advertisement will not be issued.
- No action will be taken on applications received after the due date.
