The Manager Academics will be responsible to maintain and improve academic quality by focusing on school improvement, academic development, professional development, student assessment, and the monitoring and evaluation of AKES,P units. She/he will manage their time to accomplish tasks in the office as well as in the field and extend professional and academic support to RSDUS and schools. She/he will be responsible for preparing short term and long- term plans for academic and professional development in collaboration with the General Manager and will also maintain close coordination with other agencies providing educational support, governmental and non-governmental organizations, volunteers, and community representatives.

The ideal candidate must have a Master's degree, preferably in Education, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

2. English Language Coordinator-RSDU Based

The English Language Coordinator will be responsible for assessing the English language skills requirements of the staff, and plan and conduct English language training programmes. S/he will also ensure improvement in English language skills through various means such as encouraging self-study and using English as a medium of communication with the staff.

The ideal candidate should hold a Master's degree in English. It will be an advantage if the candidate has a certificate/diploma in TESOL/TEFL, and/or has acquired acceptable scores in an international test of English (for example, IELTS), as well as have at least 2 years of experience teaching English at or above the high school level. Experience in teacher education or planning, and in managing teacher training programmes in English language, will also be an advantage.

The candidate should have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English, and the ability to analyze data and produce reports.
